Hurricane Danielle Temporarily Weakening

Hurricane Danielle is going through a big of a weakening stage as the inner eye wall has collapsed this afternoon and sustained winds are down to 110 mph.  The upper level environment should allow for some possible strengthening over the next 24 hours or so, but the system will be moving into colder waters and deal with increasing shear values as an upper level trough axis sharpens west of the system and allows it to accelerate toward the NNE.  We will be making a more detailed posting later this evening on Tropical Storm Earl.  It now seems like Earl could have some kind of impact on the east coast of the United States before all is said and done.
